UH Coog Moms Scholarship
Please check back in Spring 2023 to apply for the next academic year. The webpage will be updated with future deadlines and requirements when the new application period opens.
The candidate shall be a current, full-time student (enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours or equivalent if a graduate student) at The University of Houston and shall be classified as a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in good standing. The candidate shall have a minimum overall GPA of 2.50. Incoming freshmen are not eligible to receive a scholarship.
The scholarship award is a fixed amount determined by the Executive Board and is to be applied to normal tuition, fees, and books. The scholarship will be split in half for fall and spring term of the academic year. You must be enrolled in both semesters to receive the full scholarship.
For your application to be completed and considered for the UH Coog Moms Scholarship, please complete each of the following steps:
Order OFFICIAL transcripts from the University of Houston to deliver electronically to UHCoogMomsScholarships@gmail.com.
Email an essay to UHCoogMomsScholarships@gmail.com. Essay Prompt: Describe how this scholarship will benefit you and how you will use your experiences and education from the University of Houston in your life after graduation, including the goals for your future. Essay should only be one page, use Times New Roman font size 12.

Submit all required information on or before APRIL 2, 2022. There are no extensions on the deadline. We must have all the information by the due date.
