GRANTS
The UH Coog Moms Grant Program was established to assist campus organizations that support all students and their activities. Any eligible campus organization may submit an application. Grants will be awarded each semester. Applications are due by October 15 and March 15 for Fall & Spring grants, respectively.
2025 SPRING Grant Recipients
Coog Moms is proud to announce the recipients of our most recent round of student organization grants. These grants are awarded to support student-led initiatives that contribute to the well-being, development, and success of the University of Houston student community.
This year, we awarded grants to five outstanding student organizations whose work reflects the values of service, inclusion, and leadership. Each grant will be used to further projects that directly benefit fellow Cougars.
2025 Grant Recipients:
Student Outreach and Support (SOS) – $500
This funding will enhance the impact of SOS, helping to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment across campus by connecting students with essential resources and assistance.
Cougar Closet – $250
The grant will support Cougar Closet’s mission to provide students in need with access to professional and everyday clothing—helping ensure they are confident and prepared for job interviews, presentations, and daily life.
Children’s Learning Centers Advisory Board – $500
Funds will be used to support family-centered programming, including family events, community outings, and appreciation initiatives for the CLC’s leadership team—strengthening the sense of community.
American Medical Women’s Association (Period Project) – $500
This initiative promotes menstrual equity by providing free access to period products on campus, ensuring no student has to choose between their education and basic needs.
